Job summary

LB Advanced Material Asia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Wet Coating Operator for the Production Technology Department to monitor and control coating operations in a TiO2 production environment.

The role involves patrol inspections of dryers and milling units, recording temperatures, and ensuring equipment operates within safety standards. You will document patrol results, report abnormalities, and hand over on shifts.

Qualifications

• High school/vocational diploma or above.
• Chem/Mechanical major preferred.
• 1+ year on-site experience in drying or powder equipment.
• Familiar with safety operation requirements for gas combustion systems.

Responsibilities

• Patrol inspection of two flash dryers and steam jet milling units; monitor burners and hot air furnaces.
• Record key thermal parameters and verify consistency between DCS displays and local instruments.
• Confirm operating status of feeding, classification, and product conveying of the steam jet milling units; handle on-site abnormalities.
• Patrol inspection of the two-stage condensation system and three refrigeration units (1838 kW); monitor condensing temperature, refrigerant pressure, oil level and oil temperature.
• Confirm draining of the condensate separator and report abnormalities.
• Fill in patrol inspection records and defect reports; perform on-site handover.

The role involves patrol inspection of equipment, monitoring burner and furnace status, recording thermal parameters, handling on-site abnormalities, and maintaining operational records.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol inspection of two flash dryers and steam jet milling unit(s), and monitor the local status of burners and hot air furnaces
• Record key thermal parameters and verify consistency between DCS displays and local instruments
• Confirm the operating status of feeding, classification, and product conveying of the steam jet milling unit(s), and handle on-site abnormalities such as material blockage and vibration
• Operational patrol inspection of the two-stage condensation system and three refrigeration units (1838 kW): condensing temperature, refrigerant pressure, oil level, and oil temperature
• Confirm draining of the condensate separator and report abnormalities
• Fill in patrol inspection records and defect reports, and perform on-site handover

About you

• High school/vocational school diploma or above
• Chemical engineering or mechanical-related major preferred
• More than 1 year of on-site experience in drying or powder equipment
• Familiar with safety operation requirements for gas combustion systems
