Job summary

LB Advanced Material Asia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a shift-based process testing and analysis technician in Gurun, Kedah.

The role involves sampling and testing process materials at required frequencies, and ensuring accurate pass/fail decisions for coating processes. The candidate should have a college diploma or higher in chemistry and at least 1 year of laboratory testing experience, with training available for fresh science graduates.

Qualifications

• College diploma or above in Chemistry.
• 1+ year of laboratory testing experience; fresh graduates with a science background may be trained for the position.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test process samples at the required frequency: slurry concentration, filter cake moisture, and intermediate product indicators.
• Rapidly test the concentration of each reagent solution and issue pass/fail conclusions for release and use in the coating process.
• Test water quality samples (raw water, reclaimed water, circulating water) and record results.
• Properly use instruments and glassware, and fill in original records in a timely manner.
• Immediately retest abnormal data and report to the laboratory shift leader.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety during the shift.
