PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (MOLDING)

Job summary

ADV Precision Industries in Penang invites applications for a molding production supervisor to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets.

You will lead a team, enforce 5S, QA and ISO compliance, and drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, rejects and cost. Collaborating with other departments, you will report daily outputs and ensure the production plan is followed. A focus on people development and GMP practices will be essential for sustained performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and be responsible for total molding production to achieve total customer satisfaction in quality, delivery and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure production activities are carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 / IATF:2016 and ISO 14001 system requirements.
• Work on continuous improvement programs to optimize process cycle time, scrap, wastage and cost reduction.
• Ensure good manufacturing practice, 5S housekeeping, safety and environmental concerns are always in place and controlled.
• Cultivate teamwork spirit in production, communicate and work cooperatively with all departments.
• Build up a competent team by continuously training and coaching the staff.
• Submit to management data on daily production output, rejects, scrap and WIP status.
• Reduce production rejects, scrap or other wastages.
• Train, lead, motivate and supervise newly joined production operators.
• Ensure operators perform their jobs correctly according to work instructions.
• Support the leader to ensure necessary work instructions, packaging instructions, quality alerts, and operator attendance records are published at the machine during production.
• Ensure mold changes follow the Hand Over Task List from the production planner.
• Ensure production run and output meet the production plan schedule from the production planner.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by superior.
