Job summary

ADV Precision Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee total molding production, driving quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency. You will ensure ISO 9001:2015, IATF:2016, and ISO 14001 compliance, lead continuous improvement, and foster teamwork across departments.

The role requires training and coaching staff, maintaining work instructions and quality alerts, and ensuring mold changes follow handover processes while meeting production plans.

Responsibilities

• To manage and responsible for the total molding production to achieve total customer satisfaction in quality, delivery and cost effectiveness
• To ensure production activities are carried out in accordance ISO 9001:2015 / IATF:2016 AND ISO 14001 system requirement
• To work on continuous improvement program in optimizing process cycle time, scrap, wastage and cost reduction
• To ensure good manufacturing practice, 5S housekeeping, safety and environmental concern are always in placed and in controlled
• To cultivate the good teamwork spirit in production, to communicate and to work cooperatively with all departments
• To build up competent team by continuously training and coaching the staff
• To submit to the management on the data of the daily production output, reject, scrap and WIP status
• To reduce production in quality reject, scrap or other wastages
• To train, lead, motivate and supervisor newly join production operator
• Ensure operators doing their job correctly according to work instruction
• Supporting the leader to ensure the necessary work instruction, packaging instruction, quality alert, operator attendance record is published at the machine during production running
• To ensure mold change is following to the Hand Over Task List from the production planner
• To ensure production run and output is meet as per the production plan schedule from the production planner
• To carry out other duties as and when assigned by superior
