Job summary

SIRAGA IEM SDN BHD in Kulai, Johor, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shop floor activities, ensure on-time production, maintain product quality, and enforce safety and ISO procedures. You will coordinate manpower, monitor equipment, and manage material consumption daily.

The role requires strong planning skills, adherence to HSSE policies, and the ability to train new staff while upholding company rules and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• Must understand company policies & procedures and requirements.
• Enforce company rules & regulations on production operators.
• Plan, request and obtain overtime approval from authorized personnel.
• Provide on-the-job training for new members.

Responsibilities

• Request raw materials from Store based on Production Planning.
• Arrange manpower to meet production schedule.
• Check and ensure machines are in good running condition.
• Achieve production output targets on time with specified quality.
• Provide accurate production data on time and ensure updating in order.
• Maintain housekeeping and HSSE compliance on site.
• Lead by example and treat all individuals fairly.
• Plan and coordinate weekly production consumption with Store to prevent material shortages.
• Monitor daily operation and production targets.
• Internal Auditor for ISO certification program.
• Manage material consumption, worker movement, and waste.
• Enforce SOPs in all aspects of work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Monitor energy and environmental sustainability practices.

Job description

1) To request raw material from Store Personnel based on Production Planning.

2) To arrange manpower to meet production schedule.

3) Check and ensure machines are in good running condition.

4) Ensure achievement of production output target in timely manner, meeting the specified quality.

5) Provide accurate production data on time and ensure updating in order.

6) Ensure housekeeping and HSSE issues are well in place.

7) Supervisor to lead by example: to respect and treat all individual fairly without favoritism.

8) Must have good understanding of policies & procedures and requirement.

9) Enforce company rules & regulation on production operators.

10) To plan, request and get approval from authorized person for overtime.

11) Conduct on job training for new members.

12) Manage material consumption, workers movement, section process and material wastage.

13) To co-ordinate with store department on weekly production consumption & planning to avoid raw material shortage.

14) Enforce with SOP’s in all aspects of work.

15) Responsible to control and monitor daily operation.

16) To monitor daily production target.

17) To be Internal Auditor on company ISO certification program.

18) To perform any others duties as assigned from time to time by superior.

19) To monitor the operators applied the energy and environmental sustainability practice.
