Job summary

Spritzer Bhd is seeking a Water Source Supervisor to support daily operations of Water Source and Water tanks. You will report to the Executive/Engineer and QA Manager and supervise Technicians, QA Leaders and QC personnel.

Responsibilities include monitoring extraction, sampling, testing, recording process parameters, coordinating preventive maintenance, responding to alarms, ensuring GMP and safety compliance, and assisting in projects and audits.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Water Treatment Technology or related technical field
• 1–3 years of experience in water treatment plant, industrial utilities, wastewater treatment and food manufacturing environments
• Good teamwork, problem-solving, communication; able to work shifts and overtime
• Knowledge of water treatment processes; basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Understanding of pumps, motors, valves, and instrumentation
• Able to read technical drawings; familiar with GMP and safety practices

Responsibilities

• Report to and assist the Executive / Engineer and QA Manager in Water Source operations.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise Technicians, QA Leaders and QC personnel in Water Source & Water tanks activities.
• Monitor water extraction, water sampling and testing to ensure quality and process requirements.
• Monitor and record key Water Source & water tanks process parameters, including pressure, flow rate, TDS, pH and temperature, and report any abnormal conditions or deviations.
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, servicing, cleaning and sanitation activities for Water Source & water tanks equipment and facilities.
• Respond to system alarms, equipment breakdowns and abnormal operating conditions, and coordinate with relevant departments for troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Ensure operational records, sampling and testing results, maintenance and sanitation records are completed accurately and maintained properly.
• Ensure effective implementation of GMP, safety, hygiene and environmental requirements within the Water Source area.
• Monitor spare parts requirements and coordinate with the Executive / Engineer, Superintendent and relevant departments to ensure critical spare parts are adequately available.
• Assist in projects, studies, process improvements, audits and other ad-hoc activities related to Water Source as assigned by the superior.
