Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, lead the team, and ensure adherence to product specifications and quality standards.

You will monitor work practices, allocate operators, and ensure sufficient raw materials while maintaining GMP and safety compliance. A collaborative team player is essential to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead subordinates to execute production duties.
• Monitor production practices to meet specifications and quality.
• Allocate operators according to headcount and abilities.
• Ensure raw materials are sufficient to run production per schedule.
• Maintain GMP/housekeeping within the department.
• Adhere to quality procedures and records.
• Operate machinery safely and prevent hazards.
• Recommend improvements to facilities or procedures for safety and quality.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures/rules.
• Troubleshoot minor production line issues.
• Work collaboratively to meet production goals.

To lead surbodinates to execute production related duties.

To monitor production work practices to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.

To allocate operator according to the headcount and abilities efficiently.

To ensure raw materials are enough to run production as per schedule and maintain continuous production.

Maintaining GMP/housekeeping at a high level within department through the involvement of all team members.

Adhere to quality procedures as in process instructions and process records.

To ensure the machinery and equipment operated in a safe manner.

To recommends improvements of facilities, equipments or procedures to improve safety, quality and efficiency.

Work in accordance to Health and Safety procedures/rules.

Fixing minor issues that may arise with the production line and trouble shooting when production issues occur.

To work in harmony and as a team with co-workers and meet production goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

SPM/STPM/Diploma or equivalent.

At least 2 to 4 years of working experience in a supervisory capacity preferably from food manufacturing industry.

Knowledge in MS Office including Word , Excel and Powerpoint.
