Job summary

Inside Scoop in Malaysia is seeking a Production Executive to oversee daily production activities, ensuring food products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards. This role involves supervising production staff, coordinating manpower and materials, and maintaining hygiene.

You should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related field, plus at least 1 year of production experience. Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills are essential for meeting targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or preferred.
• Experience in food production or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and quality control practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities according to production schedules and demand.
• Ensure production targets, output, and deadlines are achieved efficiently.
• Monitor production processes to ensure products are prepared according to approved recipes, specifications, and procedures.
• Identify production issues, bottlenecks, wastage, and inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure that production activities comply with Food Safety, hygiene, quality, and operational standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production and order fulfilment.
• Monitor product quality, consistency, portion control, and production specifications.
• Allocate manpower according to daily production requirements.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to production team members.

About you

• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in food production, food manufacturing, or a related industry
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality control practices
• Experience in supervising and managing production staff
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
