Job summary

Sinergia Talents Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in Penang. You will oversee shift teams, allocate manpower, and drive safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ supervisory experience in manufacturing (preferably plastic injection or high-volume), strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with Lean/Kaizen principles; fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise production personnel to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication to boost employee engagement.
• Monitor production output and line performance; coordinate corrective actions for quality issues.
• Conduct shop floor patrols to enforce 5S, safety, and company policies.
• Support Kaizen, waste reduction, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and assist the Production Manager.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Monitor daily shift attendance and ensure adequate manpower allocation to support production requirements.
• Lead, coach, and supervise production personnel to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, effective communication, employee engagement, and continuous development.
• Monitor production output and line performance on every shift to ensure production targets are met and monitor incoming material quality and manufacturing quality issues, and coordinate timely corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Conduct routine shop floor patrols to ensure compliance with 5S, safety, housekeeping, and company policies and monitor employee discipline, attendance, and welfare, and address workplace issues promptly.
• Balance manpower allocation across production lines to optimize operational efficiency and support continuous improvement (Kaizen), productivity enhancement, waste reduction, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures and perform any other duties or projects assigned by the Production Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic injection molding or high-volume manufacturing will be an added advantage.
