Job summary

Lian Hup Packaging Industries Sdn Bhd in Bandar Tenggara, Johor, seeks a production planning and process engineering professional to coordinate daily manufacturing activities and ensure targets and customer requirements are met.

You will monitor output, productivity, quality, material usage and downtime, develop and standardize processes, maintain BOMs and routings in the ERP, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in production, process engineering or manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Good understanding of BOM, routing, MO, production processes and material consumption.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities to meet targets and customer requirements.

• Develop, improve and standardize manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
• Establish and maintain process flow, work instructions, production standards and routing.
• Develop and maintain BOM, routing, process parameters and standard production times in ERP.
• Ensure ERP production processes reflect actual shop floor processes.
• Support MO creation, monitoring and completion in ERP.
• Analyze production problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production Planning, Production, Quality, Warehouse and Procurement to resolve issues.
• Train production personnel on new processes and ERP procedures.

This role involves planning, coordinating and monitoring daily production activities to ensure production targets and customer requirements are met. Ensure ERP production processes accurately reflect the actual manufacturing process on the factory floor

Support creation, monitoring and completion of Manufacturing Orders (MO) in the ERP system

Analyse production problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions

Work closely with Production Planning, Production, Quality, Warehouse and Procurement to resolve production and ERP-related issues

Train production personnel on new processes, work instructions and relevant ERP procedures

About you

Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field

2–5 years of experience in production, process engineering or manufacturing

Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred

Good understanding of BOM, routing, Manufacturing Orders, production processes and material consumption

Good Excel and data analysis skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Hands-on and practical approach with good understanding of factory operations

Good communication and coordination skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
