M&R Integrated Solutions Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Production Planner to plan and schedule production activities based on orders, materials, and capacity. You will prepare schedules, work orders, and manufacturing plans while coordinating with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, QC/QA and other departments to ensure smooth flow and on-time delivery.
The role requires 1–3 years in production or material planning, familiar with ERP/MRP and Excel, and the ability to manage multiple
Plan and schedule production activities based on customer orders, delivery requirements, material availability, and production capacity.
Prepare and maintain production schedules, work orders, job cards, and manufacturing plans.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, QC/QA, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Monitor production progress and follow up on job status to ensure orders are completed according to schedule.
Check material availability and coordinate with Purchasing and Warehouse to ensure materials are ready before production starts.
Coordinate machining, subcontracting, special processes, assembly, inspection, and other production activities where required.
Monitor machine and manpower capacity and adjust schedules to minimize delays and bottlenecks.
Identify potential delays, material shortages, or production issues and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
Update production status, delivery schedules, and planning records in the ERP/MRP system.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding processing schedules, delivery dates, and job progress.
Communicate production priorities and schedule changes to relevant departments.
Prepare production planning and progress reports for management.
Maintain accurate production planning records and documentation.
Support continuous improvement activities to improve production efficiency, lead time, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned by the superior or management.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in production planning, material planning, manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience in a precision machining, engineering, semiconductor, or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Good understanding of production planning, scheduling, material requirements, and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Good coordination, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Willing to work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, QC/QA, suppliers, and subcontractors.
