Job summary

Lian Hup Packaging Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Material Planning Executive to coordinate raw material availability and optimize inventory to support production schedules. You will plan and monitor production and deliveries, perform MRP/ERP tasks, and collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse and Quality teams to resolve planning issues.

Candidates should have 2-5 years in planning, a relevant degree, strong Excel and data analysis skills, and a solid understanding of BOM and MO

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Production, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
• Good Excel and data analysis skills.
• Good understanding of BOM, Manufacturing Orders, production processes and material planning.
• Strong analytical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Key Advantage: ERP implementation experience or ERP Production Planning Key User.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily/weekly/monthly production & delivery based on customer orders and delivery requirements.
• Monitor production progress and ensure production targets are achieved on time.
• Perform MRP and production planning through ERP system.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing Orders (MO), BOM, material requirements and production data in ERP.
• Monitor Manufacturing Orders from creation to completion and ensure all MOs are properly updated and closed in the ERP system.
• Check actual production quantity, material consumption, wastage and production completion before closing MOs.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse to ensure materials are available for production.
• Work closely with Production, Sales, Warehouse, Procurement and Quality teams to resolve planning issues.
• Monitor material consumption, production output, wastage and inventory accuracy.
• Prepare production planning and performance reports.

The Material Planning Executive coordinates and optimizes the availability of raw materials (lumber, nails, fasteners, resins, blocks) to meet production schedules while minimizing inventory holding costs and material waste

Key responsibilities

Plan and schedule daily/weekly/monthly production & delivery based on customer orders and delivery requirements.

Monitor production progress and ensure production targets are achieved on time.

Perform MRP and production planning through ERP system.

Create and maintain Manufacturing Orders (MO), BOM, material requirements and production data in ERP.

About you
