Job summary

Spritzer Group, Malaysia's leading bottled water producer, seeks a Production Planning Executive to balance demand, inventory and capacity across the plant network. You will plan daily and weekly schedules and coordinate across functions to ensure on-time delivery and optimal machine utilisation.

Ideal candidates have a degree in a quantitative field, strong analytical and decision-making skills, and proficiency in Excel. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, inventory levels and production capacity.
• Coordinate production priorities and resources to ensure timely order fulfilment and smooth production flow.
• Monitor production output, inventory movement and capacity utilization, proactively identifying shortages, delays, bottlenecks and scheduling constraints.
• Optimize production schedules to improve machine utilisation, operational efficiency, service levels and on-time delivery while minimising transfers, interruptions, energy use and overtime.
• Analyze planning challenges, prepare planning reports and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and overall operational performance.

Delays, shortages, excess inventory, and production disruptions all have operational and commercial consequences.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex planning challenges, coordinating across multiple functions, and taking ownership of decisions that directly impact production performance and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Coordinate production priorities and resources to ensure timely order fulfilment and smooth production flow.
• Monitor production output, inventory movement, and capacity utilization, proactively identifying potential shortages, delays, bottlenecks, and scheduling constraints.
• Optimize production schedules to improve machine utilization, operational efficiency, service levels, and on-time delivery performance while minimizing unnecessary transfers, production interruptions, energy consumption, and overtime costs.
• Analyze planning challenges, prepare planning-related reports and operational data, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and overall operational performance.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant planning or manufacturing experience will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other business applications.
