Delloyd Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive PPC Executive/Senior Executive to lead production planning and scheduling in our automotive component plant.
You will collaborate with Production, Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse and Quality to ensure on-time delivery and optimal utilisation of resources. You will develop short- and long-term production plans, monitor execution, and drive improvements in MRP data quality, capacity planning and inventory control.
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Production Planning & Control (PPC) Executive / Senior Executive to join our automotive component manufacturing operations in Klang, Selangor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and controlling production plans and schedules to ensure that customer requirements are achieved on time, at the required quantity and with optimum utilisation of manpower, machines and materials.
The position will work closely with Production, Sales/Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering and other departments to ensure smooth production flow, minimise production delays and maintain healthy inventory levels.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer demand, sales forecasts, orders and available production capacity.
Develop detailed production schedules according to machine capacity, manpower availability, material availability, production lead time and customer delivery requirements.
Monitor actual production against the planned schedule and take prompt action on deviations.
Reschedule production plans when there are changes in customer requirements, machine breakdowns, manpower shortages, material shortages or quality issues.
Ensure production priorities are properly communicated to Production and relevant departments.
Monitor production loading and identify capacity constraints, bottlenecks and potential delivery risks.
Prepare and monitor material requirements based on production schedules, BOM, customer demand and inventory levels.
Coordinate closely with Purchasing and Warehouse to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, packaging materials and other production requirements.
Monitor material shortages and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken to prevent production disruption.
Review inventory levels and recommend appropriate replenishment or production actions.
Support MRP activities and ensure planning data is accurate and updated in the ERP system.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly PPC reports and management updates.
Monitor and report key performance indicators including:
On-Time Delivery (OTD)
Schedule Adherence
Material Shortage
Inventory Level / Inventory Turnover
Production Capacity Utilisation
Analyse planning and production data and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Identify opportunities to improve production planning, scheduling and material control processes.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and productivity improvement activities.
Support initiatives to reduce production lead time, WIP, inventory, overtime and production disruptions.
Improve the accuracy and effectiveness of planning through better data utilisation and systemisation.
Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Manufacturing Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics or a related discipline.
Candidates with equivalent relevant manufacturing experience may also be considered
Minimum 3 years of experience in Production Planning, Production Control, Material Planning, Supply Chain or a similar manufacturing environment.
Experience in automotive component manufacturing will be an added advantage
Good understanding of Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), capacity planning and production scheduling.
Good understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM), production lead time, WIP and inventory control.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and reporting.
Ability to analyse production data and identify capacity, material and scheduling constraints.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen or continuous improvement methodologies will be an advantage.

Automotive component manufacturing
Experience dealing with OEM/customer production schedules, delivery requirements and automotive supply-chain systems will also be an advantage.
