Job summary

Oversea Lighting & Electric (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planner to prepare daily and monthly production schedules aligned with sales orders. You will monitor progress, drive on-time delivery, and manage WIP stock within safety limits.

You will also perform capacity analysis and expedite materials with the Purchasing Department to avoid shortages. Candidate must hold a Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Electronic or equivalent and have at least 2 years of LED lighting manufacturing

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Electrical & Electronic or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience in LED lighting manufacturing environment.
• Strong planning, problem solving, decision making, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and monthly production schedules based on sales orders.
• Monitor daily production progress and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Control and monitor WIP stock and inventory levels.
• Perform capacity analysis, expedite incoming materials, and manage safety stock.

Job description

Prepare daily and monthly production schedule for manufacturing according to sales order.

Monitor and follow up closely on daily production progress and ensure delivery on time to customer.

Control and monitor WIP stock.

Responsible for production capacity analysis, expediting incoming materials and control inventory level based on safety stock.

Issue Purchase Request (PR) for materials shortage and follow up closely with Purchasing Department to ensure the material shortage are delivered on time within the required date.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least with Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Electronic or equivalent.

At least 2 years of working experience in LED Lighting manufacturing environment.

Required Skill(s): Planning, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Communication, Teamwork.

Fast and responsible.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Good communication skill and Analytical Skill.

Willing to learn and adapt to challenging environment.

Able work at Seri Kembangan and Malaysia citizen.
