Job summary

Oversea Lighting & Electric (M) Sdn Bhd, a well-established LED lighting and pole manufacturer in Malaysia, seeks a Production Planner in Semenyih. The role focuses on scheduling, tracking daily progress, and maintaining on-time deliveries according to sales orders.

The candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Electronic, at least 2 years in Pole & LED Lighting manufacturing, and strong skills in planning, problem solving, decision making, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Electronic or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and monthly production schedule for manufacturing according to sales order.
• Monitor and follow up closely on daily production progress and ensure delivery on time to customer.
• Control and monitor WIP stock.
• Responsible for production capacity analysis, expediting incoming materials and control inventory level based on safety stock.
• Issue Purchase Request (PR) for materials shortage and follow up closely with Purchasing Department to ensure the material shortage are delivered on time within the required date.
• Other jobs assigned by Superior.
