Job summary

Norautron Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Operator to manually and automatically assemble PCBAs, including placing components and soldering, with machine operation such as SMT and wave soldering.

You will follow instructions and monitor processes to ensure timely completion. Responsibilities include quality inspection per IPC-A-610, reporting defects, operating equipment, maintaining inventory, and adhering to safety, ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards while contributing to process

Qualifications

• Secondary school education or equivalent.
• Experience in PCBA production preferred.
• Familiarity with SMT, Assembly or Box Build.
• For soldering Operator must have soldering knowledge and techniques.
• Ability to read English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good communication and ability to follow directions.

Job description

Production Operator (Soldering / Rework)

· Perform manual and automated assembly of PCBAs, including component placement, soldering, and machine operation (e.g., SMT machines, wave soldering, etc.).

· Follow production instructions, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate assembly.

· Monitor production processes to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

b. Quality Assurance:

· Inspect assembled PCBAs for defects and compliance with quality standards such as IPC-A-610.

· Identify and report quality issues to the relevant team.

· Ensure all products meet customer specifications before moving to the next stage.

c. Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

· Operate production equipment and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal functionality.

· Identify and report equipment malfunctions or downtime to maintenance teams.

· Handle and manage materials and components safely and efficiently.

· Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and manufacturing procedures.

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Secondary school education or equivalent .
