Job summary

Globetronics Sdn. Bhd. in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia seeks an Equipment Technician to maintain production equipment at optimum effectiveness.

A Diploma in Engineering and 3+ years in FOL/EOL, Die Attach, Wire Bond, SMT/AOI with LED background are required. Strong device setup, mapping, and reporting skills are essential. The role involves monitoring machine performance, coordinating new project transfers, ensuring PM/calibration adherence, reducing downtime, and supporting PFMEA and control

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in FOL / EOL / Die Attach / Wire Bond / Laser Mark / SMT / AOI processes with LED background.
• Knowledge of device setup, parameter settings and mapping systems.
• Familiarity with semiconductor equipment (Front End & Back End) and processes.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel for reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor specific machine performance.
• Assist and coordinate new project transfers as needed.
• Ensure PM and calibration procedures are maintained and implemented.
• Initiate activities to minimize downtime.
• Support implementation of Process Flow, Control Plan, PFMEA and follow-up.
• Develop and utilize statistical methods to drive yield, cycle time and quality improvements.
• Identify needs for EVA or Qualification lots based on qualification processes.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess a Diploma in Engineering.

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in FOL / EOL / Die Attach / Wire Bond / Laser Mark / SMT / AOI processes and relevant experience in LED background.

Knowledge in:

Device setup/Parameter setting

Mapping system setting

Quality issue analysis

Daily & Weekly PM

Familiar with semiconductor equipment (Front End & Back End)

Familiar with semiconductor processes and monitoring (Front End & Back End)

Skill in computer and familiar with MS Office – Words/Excel for reporting.

Possess a reasonable working knowledge in the related practices in the industry.

Good communication & interpersonal skills.

Job Descriptions:

To ensure specific machine performance monitoring is carried out.
