Job summary

KES International Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a group of production specialists, ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, and safe, efficient operations across assembly and test. You will be accountable for meeting production targets and for deploying staff and equipment to maximize output.

The role requires IPC-610C workmanship knowledge, a Diploma in Mechantronics or equivalent, and at least five years in a similar PCBA environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechantronics or equivalent. Studied in English medium is preferable.
• With Minimum 5 years working experience in similar position preferably in PCBA environment.
• Knowledge:Familiar with IPC-610C workmanship standards. Good knowledge of PCBA assembly 5S Concept , QC Tools.
• Skill set:-Good in interpersonal, communication skills , Management & Supervisory Skill
• Ability:-Listening Skills, Follow-up, detailed , analytical & problem solving skill
• Other Characteristics:-self-initiative & proactiveness , leadership
• Physical job requirements:-able to work effectively under pressure

Responsibilities

• Leads a group of Production Specialists & below in the safe and smooth running of the production.
• Takes responsibility in achieving production goals (qualitative and quantitative) under safe working conditions.
• Takes part in activities for plant process/equipment modification and optimization.
• Plans, executes and supervises the day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Overall in-charge of people, machines and product performance.
• Ensures the production schedule is generated on a timely basis and that material support and manpower requirements are adequate for smooth production runs.
• Drives measurable improvements in customer delivery, productivity, and product flow.
• Comes up with necessary changes in systems and tools to improve customer deliverables in terms of Quality and Productivity.
• Assists and coaches the team actively in delivering customer’s expectation.
• Provides support on quality initiatives and process development to drive reduction in cost and enhance engineering productivity.
• Accountable to meet Production targets with quality output and delivery.
• Ensures work orders needs are adhered to and completed accordingly to plan
• Implements and enforces 5 S and safe work practices
• Enforces discipline and monitors attendance of operators.
• Plans and ensures that staff are properly deployed in order to maximize human resource utilization
• Coordinates and works closely with quality personnels to resolve quality issues
• Analyzes and provides solutions to production related problem and maintain or improve yield, efficiency & quality.
• Complies with legal, corporate, and quality policy requirements.
• Other tasks as and when assigned by the Immediate Head.
