Job summary

Hitec Metal is seeking a qualified professional to coordinate and implement production schedules, ensuring target attainment while maximizing machine capacity. You will manage raw material inventories, coordinate with site teams to meet delivery requirements, and uphold ISO quality standards and health and safety regulations.

You will lead shift teams, train staff on SOPs, and continually identify process improvements to reduce costs and improve yield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years working experience in related field is beneficial.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead by example.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement production schedules to meet targets while maximizing machinery capacity.
• Coordinate with the raw material team to manage inventory levels.
• Coordinate with site team to meet delivery requirements.
• Ensure all fabricated products meet required specifications and quality.
• Maintain ISO 9001 documentation and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (ISO14001 & ISO45001).
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime via preventive maintenance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce yield loss and production costs.
• Supervise shift workers, assign tasks, and ensure proper manpower allocation.
• Train workers in SOPs and safety protocols.
