Job summary

HICOM-Teck See Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Process/Mechanical Engineer to plan and drive improvement initiatives across the plant. You will enhance yield, quality, reliability, and productivity while supporting production operations.

Responsibilities include implementing line balancing, resolving process issues, and ensuring compliance with ISO/TS and related standards, with a focus on cost reduction and automation where feasible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related Science discipline (or equivalent recognized qualification).
• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and drive the effective execution of improvement initiatives to achieve optimal operational and manufacturing performance.
• Identify, develop, and resolve process-related issues to continuously enhance yield, quality, reliability, and productivity.
• Provide support to cross-functional teams for plant-wide new and special projects.
• Implement process improvement initiatives, including line balancing and engineering solutions, to enhance efficiency and profitability, while supporting production operations.
• Ensure compliance with and maintenance of management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS 16949, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Source and evaluate new equipment and technologies to increase automation levels and reduce operational costs.
