Job summary

HICOM-Teck See Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for a Production Planning and Control Executive who will develop and manage production schedules, control stock levels, forecast needs, and generate purchase requisitions to meet customer orders.

The ideal candidate holds a recognized degree, has knowledge of MRP and inventory management, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and excels with Excel. Flexibility to work across plants is required.

Qualifications

• A recognized degree in any field.
• Fresh graduates or 1 year working experience in production planning or in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge in MRP, inventory management.
• Understanding of production operations, including production flow for the different processes.
• Good analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• Excellent in computer skills, Excel spreadsheet.
• Able to be assigned to any plant as required by the management.

Responsibilities

• Develops a production schedule detailing all tasks with the plan completion time to meet customer order and generates work order based from the schedules.
• Managing and controlling stock levels for respective models.
• Generate forecasts and process purchase requisition for raw from the approved vendors. The forecasts are to be email to all vendors respectively monthly.
• The planner must use lead-time information to ensure that materials are received in a timely manner for production needs and verify the receipt.
• Monitor the performance of vendors.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Determine root causes for part shortages & implement permanent corrective action.
• Production achievement reports.
