• Plan and coordinate overall production scheduling.
• Manage stock inventory of raw materials, packing materials, semi-products and finished products.
• Monitor availability of raw materials and packing materials at Store.
• Provide a project timeline to Purchasing for upcoming production plans.
• Coordinate with Sales for production planning to meet delivery dates and customer requirements.
• Monitor daily outputs and plan packing activities based on data.
• Monitor process and product quality to meet customer requirements and policies.
• Monitor production capabilities and capacities.

About the role
Oriental Food Industries SDN BHD is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production & Material Planner to join our team in Melaka. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production process to ensure efficient and timely delivery of our high-quality food products.

What you'll be doing

Responsible for the workout of overall production planning schedule.

Responsible for the stock inventory management of raw materials, packing materials, semi-products and finished products in Production Line.

Responsible for the monitoring of availability of raw materials and packing materials at Store.

To provide a project timeline to Purchasing Department for the upcoming production plans in order to ensure sufficient availability of raw materials and packing materials for production.

To coordinate with Sales Department for overall production planning in order to meet the delivery / shipment date and other customer requirements (if any).

Responsible for daily outputs monitoring and to plan & coordinate the packing activities based on the data provided.

To monitor and ensure the process and product quality meets the customer requirements and in compliance with company policies and standard requirements.

Responsible for the monitoring of production capabilities and capacities.
