Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Penang Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a seasoned manufacturing leader to oversee lacquering, tampo printing, and assembly, ensuring output, quality, and on-time delivery. Plan manpower, capacity, materials, and schedules; coach supervisors and operators; and drive KPI improvements including OEE, yield, scrap, downtime, and cost efficiency.

Requires a Diploma or Degree in Engineering/Manufacturing with 10 years in plastic injection molding; proficiency with SAP; ISO

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, with minimum 10 years of experience in plastic injection molding or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of lacquering, spray printing, production processes, SAP, and computer applications, with familiarity in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, including performance appraisal, disciplinary management, and production performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily lacquering, tampo printing, and assembly operations to achieve production output, yield, quality, and delivery targets.
• Plan and optimize manpower, machine capacity, materials, and production schedules to ensure efficient operations and on-time customer delivery.
• Coach and develop supervisors, technicians, and operators to strengthen technical competency, productivity, and operational discipline.
• Monitor and improve KPIs including OEE, productivity, yield, scrap reduction, downtime, and cost efficiency.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance, quality, and operational excellence.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement of robotic spray systems, tampo printing machines, and assembly equipment.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, safety, quality, GMP, and company requirements, while supporting NPI, process validation, cross-functional collaboration, and departmental reporting.

Job Responsibilities
