Job summary

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or line leader role.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read production data and metrics.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin an added advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of the production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets
• Monitoring production processes, identifying and resolving issues to maintain quality and productivity
• Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Providing leadership, training, and mentoring to production team members
• Collaborating with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to optimise production workflows
• Generating and analysing production data to identify areas for improvement
• Communicating effectively with management and providing progress reports

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of quality standards, for example, ISO 13485.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or line leader role within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production-related issues in a timely manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate the production team
• Proficient in understanding and interpreting production data and metrics
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change
• Familiarity with production equipment, machinery, and quality control processes
• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin is an added advantage.
