Job summary

SQC Management (Penang) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Technician to ensure effective implementation of the company’s management systems and production standards. Responsibilities

• Follow company policies, procedures, and food safety standards including ISO, HACCP, GMP, AIB, FSSC 22000, Halal.
• Report to the Production Supervisor/Executive during shifts and coordinate with DCS Technicians.
• Lead by example in personal hygiene, discipline, safety, and teamwork.
• Ensure processing, packaging, bagging, palletizing, and drumming operations run safely and efficiently per GMP.
• Coordinate daily activities with Supervisors, DCS Technicians, operators, warehouse staff and other departments.
• Prepare equipment and production lines before start-up, including inspection, cleaning, changeover and readiness checks.
• Monitor heat box operations, filling systems, metal detection, sieve testing, sampling, product inspection and quality checks.
• Ensure inspections, logbooks and records are completed accurately and on time.
• Support product quality activities including process sampling, finished product sampling, labeling and QC coordination.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping across processing, packaging, storage and work areas.
• Monitor packaging and raw material receipt, storage and use per approved specs.
• Report issues, raise maintenance work orders, and assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Support workplace safety initiatives and participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Continuously develop technical knowledge to improve plant operations and performance.

About the Role

A Production Technician is required to understand and fulfil the job scope and responsibilities assigned by the company. Each Production Technician is responsible for ensuring that the company’s management systems, requirements, and procedures are effectively implemented and fully complied with. A Production Technician must possess the necessary technical knowledge and skills to ensure that plant operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with established standards and requirements. In addition, a Production Technician should demonstrate a positive attitude, strong initiative, and a commitment to continuous improvement in order to support the company’s growth and vision of becoming a world-class manufacturer.

Location : Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Raja Selatan, Shah Alam, Selangor.

Reporting to : Production Supervisor [Finishing]

Working Hours : Shift rotation Morning (7.00 AM - 3.00 PM) Afternoon (3:00PM – 11:00 PM) Evening (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
