Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Production Lead to plan and coordinate production activities based on priorities and schedules. You will monitor output, quality, efficiency, WIP, and on-time delivery targets while guiding a production team.

You will ensure staff training, certifications, and adherence to 5S, safety standards, and housekeeping, conduct work cell meetings, drive continuous improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Degree in any field, or Diploma with 7–8 years of relevant experience.
• SMT & PCBA experience is required.
• Able to work under pressure and in a flexible shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production activities according to product priorities and schedules.
• Monitor production output, quality, efficiency, WIP, and delivery targets.
• Lead and motivate production team to achieve KPI and continuous improvement goals.
• Ensure employees are properly trained, certified, and performing to required standards.
• Maintain good employee relations and administer company policies fairly.
• Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, material management, and housekeeping standards.
• Conduct work cell/team meetings and follow up on production issues.
• Identify problems and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and quality.
• Perform overtime and other duties as assigned based on department requirements.
