Job summary

Jabil Malaysia is seeking a Production Area Manager to lead a manufacturing team, ensure production schedules, quality and cost objectives are met, and drive operational excellence within the plant.

You will recruit, coach, and develop Line Managers and Managers In Training (MITs), manage performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and deliver value to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Two (2) years experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Manage production area to meet production schedules, quality, and cost objectives.
• Lead, recruit, interview, and hire Line Managers and MITs; coach them through interviewing and hiring processes.
• Drive performance management, set measurable goals, and monitor team results.
