Job summary

Budi Feed Sdn Bhd in Selangor seeks a Production Executive / Assistant Manager to oversee production and warehouse activities, ensuring outputs meet planned schedules and cost targets.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, knowledge of HACCP/GMP+B2, plus experience in quality control, budgeting, and procurement systems. You will drive process improvements and ensure compliance with QMS and 6S programs.

PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE / PRODUCTION ASSISTANT MANAGER

• Responsible for Oversee production and warehouse functions, executed according to planned by General Manager/Production Manager/Shipping Officer.
• A production Executive ensures that goods are produced efficiently. They ensure the correct amount is produced at the right cost and at the right level of quality.

Responsibilities and Authorities

• To understand the requirement of production for Company’s needs and ensure established procedures are effectively implemented. i.e. Standard Operating Procedure and Work Instruction.
• To maintain and foster good public relations among workers and Management in regards to the HACCP/GMP+B2, Department of Safety and Health, Department of Environment, and representative from the Government Department.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity.
• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Ensure complete compliance to prescribed QMS, GMP+B2’s and 6S processes
• Work with Managers to analyze job orders and ensure production tasks and schedule executed as planned.
• Plan and assign daily job duties to workers.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Carrying out any other jobs assigned by the Managers.
• To follow up changes for the documents (soft and hard copies), aware of changes in new documentation and work schedule and manage existing system by evaluation of potential issues and actively follow up with Budi Feed Sdn Bhd Company requirements.
• To feedback to production Manager and Shipping Executive on production information, with planned activities ahead for Shipment.

Competency Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical), Business Management, or an industry-specific field (e.g., Food Technology)
• 5 and above years experience of supervisory/managerial experience in production at same position.
• Previous experience working in a related industry preferred.
• Ability to confidently and proactively supervise production teams.
• Exceptional analytical ability toward solving production-related concerns.
• Knowledge of procuring materials, equipment, and labor needed throughout the production process.
• Proficiency in quality control, managing budgets, and production costing.
• Competence with computer-based administration, record-keeping, and procurement systems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills toward managing human resources and liaising with other departments.
• Availability to work extended hours to meet deadlines, when necessary.
