Job summary

Multi-Code Electronics Industries (M) Berhad is seeking a Production Executive (Injection Moulding) to monitor the injection molding section performance, meet customer quality and delivery targets, and optimize machine utilization. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations Management with at least 3 years in a plastic injection molding environment.

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in operations/engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of molding machine setup and parameter optimization.
• Familiar with common engineering resins and their processing characteristics.
• Understanding of OEE, cycle time, and production efficiency monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily production activities to meet targets and schedules.
• Supervise operators, technicians and shift leaders; assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Coordinate mold changes, machine setup and changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Analyze defects, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure quality systems compliance; support CAPA, SPC and quality control.
• Drive Lean, 5S, Kaizen and waste reduction to improve productivity and safety.

Job description

PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE (INJECTION MOULDING)

To monitor injection molding section performance to meet customer quality and delivery.

Key responsibilities

Plan and execute daily production activities to achieve production targets, customer delivery schedules, and optimal machine utilization

Supervise and lead production personnel, including operators, technicians, and shift leaders, by assigning tasks, monitoring performance and ensuring workforce discipline and productivity

Coordinate mold changes, machine setup, and production changeovers to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production startup in accordance with production planning

Analyze and troubleshoot molding defects, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous process improvement

Ensure compliance with quality management systems by working closely with the Quality team on process control, defect reduction, SPC implementation, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, and cost-saving projects to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency

Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) requirements by promoting safe work practices, conducting workplace inspections, enforcing PPE usage, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards

About you

Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Operation Management, Engineering (Mechanical or Plastics) or related Engineering degree

At least 3 years' experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of molding machine setup, parameter optimization and production startup

Familiar with various engineering plastic and commodity resins (e.g., PP, ABS, PC, PA, POM, PE, PS, and PVC) and their processing characteristics

Understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), cycle time optimization, machine utilization, and production efficiency monitoring

Experience supervising production teams and managing daily production operations is preferred
