Guppy Plastic Industries (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Diploma/ Degree holder to lead injection moulding operations in Malaysia. The role requires at least 2 years of production management experience and knowledge of moulding processes, production control and machine maintenance.

You will supervise setup and teardown, troubleshoot equipment, optimize cycle times, manage raw materials with traceability, and support new program launches while ensuring quality and compliance.

Qualificações

• Diploma or degree and above in moulding or related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years in production/manufacturing management and technical roles.
• Familiar with moulding processes, production control and machine maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for injection moulding process setup, tear down, troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
• Manage raw moulding materials with traceability and contamination control.
• Optimise machine processes by reducing scrap, cycle times and mould changes.
• Assist launches of new programs by building new processes and attending launch meetings.
• Maintain controlled injection processes using data and systematic optimization.
• Direct mold set-ups using efficient mold change systems and robotics.
• Align all work with the company SOPs and production requirements.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in production / manufacturing management and technical

Required skills/ knowledge: moulding process/ production control/ machine maintenance

Proficient in spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Responsibility:

Responsible for all aspects of the injection moulding process including, but not limited to, set-up and tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and work flow

Managing raw moulding materials in a way that ensures traceability and prevents contamination

Optimises all machine processes by reducing scrap, cycle times and mould changes times

Assist with launches of new programs by building a new process to ensure quality products of parts and attends launch meetings prior to production start-up as needed

Maintains and secures controlled injection process by using part weights by using plastics data and using a systematics approach to optimizing current running process

Directs set-ups for molds using efficient mold change systems and robotics

Function:

All work conduct whenever & whichever applicable, shall be as spelled out in the company's standard operating procedures

Working with production to ensure molded components meet requirements, making adjustments as required other assignments as requested
