Job summary

Situ Global (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planner to manage production and material planning, ensuring orders meet customer requirements and deadlines. You will compile schedules for material, hardware capacity, and manpower, coordinating with various departments for a smooth production flow.

The role requires a degree in manufacturing or related field, strong Excel skills, and the ability to analyze data and monitor variances.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
• Experience in production scheduling, capacity planning and material planning.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow.
• Proficient in Excel including data analysis, formulas and reporting.
• Able to monitor production plan vs. actual output and identify variances.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with project, supply chain, purchasing, production and suppliers for smooth production flow.
• Monitor production performance daily and resolve shortages or equipment issues.
• Prepare KPI, machine utilization, and PDS analysis reports to drive improvements.
• Implement processes to meet standards and support continuous improvement.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Key Requirement: The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with our clients in China to support business operations.

Job Description

Responsible for production & raw material planning, analysis and performing overall planning for orders received to fulfill customer requirements and achieve company objectives.

Compile schedules for material planning, hardware capacity planning, manpower planning and other resources planning.

Plan and manage production schedules to ensure each operation meets customer delivery deadlines.

Liaise with project, supply chain, purchasing, production & suppliers to ensure smooth run of production and maintain stock build at optimum level.

Monitor production performance in daily basis, identify WIP shortage, raw material shortage, equipment malfunction, others manufacturing concern, and resolve any potential issues in timely manner.

Perform production output monitoring and prepare relevant reports such as KPI, machine utilization, PDS analysis and improvement.

Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets, identifying areas of improvement, and support for continuous improvement

Performance of other ad hoc job as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirement

Degree inManufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience inproduction scheduling, capacity planning, and material planning.

Good understanding ofmanufacturing processes and production flow.

Proficient inMicrosoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, and reporting.

Able to monitorproduction plan vs. actual outputand identify production variances.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Able to work under pressure and manage multiple production priorities.

Good communication skills inmultiple languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
