Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in material planning, production planning or supply chain.
• Educational background includes STPM/A-Level/Pre-U or diplomas/engineering fields.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and ensure smooth running of the production process within the company.
• Coordinate and expedite flow of work and materials according to the production schedule.
• Review production schedules and work orders to determine personnel or material requirements or priorities.
• Revise schedules as needed due to design changes, labor/material shortages or interruptions.
• Follow up with all teams to expedite material flow to meet production schedules and customer expectations.
• Record production data including volumes, material consumption, or quality control measures.
• Check documents and processes to ensure completeness and conformance to standards.
• Provide documentation for delays, difficulties, or changes to cost estimates.
• Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.
• Participate in monthly/weekly meetings to support scheduling with capacity loading.

Job description

Candidate must possess at least STPM/ “A” Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), others engineering field or equivalent.

Candidate must possess at least three (2) years working experience in the material planning, production planning, supply chain related field is required for this position. Preferably executives specializing in manufacturing environment/production operations or equivalent.

Good communication & writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Self motivated and dynamic to handle and execute multiple assigned task.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines

Responsibilities

Responsible for the planning and smooth running of the production process within a Company.

Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.

Review documents such as production schedules, work orders to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities.

Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production or engineering.

Follow up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.

Record production data including volume produced consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures.

Examine documents, materials or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.

Provide documentation and information to account for delays, difficulties, or changes to cost estimates.

Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.

Participate in monthly/weekly meeting to support production scheduling according to capacity loading in fast-paced environment.

Inventory analysis & reporting, controlling in optimum level including cost analysis for procurement budgeting.

Follow up closely with Purchasing department to ensure delivery on time within the required date.

Take part in monthly stock count to justify accuracy of real time data versus physical inventory.
