Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a production supervisor to coordinate weekly to daily plans, oversee shop floor, and ensure SOP adherence.

You will work with QAQC, maintain records, monitor machine performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in GMP/HALAL manufacturing.

Required Mandarin, Malay, and English, 3–5 years supervisory experience in pharma/cosmetic/food, strong leadership and data reporting skills.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in a production or supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Mandarin, Malay and English
• Knowledge of GMP and HALAL is required
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing or Kaizen is a plus
• Able to analyze data and generate reports
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly/monthly production plans based on customer orders and inventory
• Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to meet deadlines
• Oversee the daily activities of production workers
• Monitor production output
• Coordinate with purchaser/store/inventory team for material availability
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues
• Identify areas for improvement in the production process to minimize downtime and waste
• Maintain accurate records of production, machine usage and worker attendance
• Ensure adherence to production processes and standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Work closely with the QAQC team to ensure finished products meet quality standards
• Conduct in-process inspections and take corrective actions when required
• Report and investigate any workplace incidents
• Act as a communication bridge between shop floor and management
• All other duties as instructed by the Management from time to time

Requirements:

Required language(s): Mandarin, Malay, English We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients

Knowledge on GMP and HALAL is required
