Job summary

Situ Global (M) Sdn Bhd in Banting/Jenjarom is seeking a Production Executive to coordinate daily production, monitor progress, and ensure targets for production, quality, and safety are met. The role also works closely with the China team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities include conducting product quality inspections, preparing schedules based on orders and resources, monitoring daily activities, updating SOPs, coordinating with warehouse and purchasing,

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in manufacturing, engineering, production management or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; production experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with Malaysia and China teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production, monitor progress and ensure targets for production, quality and safety are met.
• Prepare and update SOPs and work instructions; train and supervise workers.
• Coordinate with Warehouse/Purchasing to ensure materials are available and maintain records.
• Monitor KPIs and produce daily/weekly/monthly production reports.

The Production Executive coordinates daily production, monitors progress, and ensures production, quality, and safety targets are met. The role also works closely with the China team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct product quality inspections to ensure products meet client requirements and company quality standards. Record inspection results, identify defects, follow up on corrective actions, and prepare quality reports for clients.




• Assist in preparing production schedules based on orders, manpower, materials, and machine availability. Monitor production progress to ensure output targets and delivery deadlines are met. Communicate with the China team on daily production matters.




• Monitor daily production activities and coordinate solutions for machine breakdowns, material shortages, manpower shortages, and other operational issues. Ensure manpower, machinery, and materials are used efficiently.




• Prepare and update SOPs and work instructions for production and quality processes. Train and supervise factory workers while monitoring their attendance, productivity, discipline, and compliance with work requirements.




• Coordinate with the Warehouse and Purchasing teams to ensure sufficient materials are available. Monitor material usage and coordinate machine repairs and preventive maintenance.




• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Monitor production KPIs, including output, efficiency, rejection rate, and downtime. Maintain proper production and quality records for client requirements and audits.




• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, proper use of PPE, and the maintenance of a clean, safe, and organised production area.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.




• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with production experience in a manufacturing environment will have an added advantage.




• Able to communicate and coordinate with teams in Malaysia and China.




• Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.




• Able to prepare and analyse production reports using Microsoft Excel.




• Able to supervise workers and handle daily production issues.




• Experience in furniture, metal, or woodworking manufacturing is an advantage.
