Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, manage manpower and equipment to meet production schedules, and ensure products meet quality specifications while minimizing losses.

The role includes root cause analysis for rejections and customer complaints, maintaining safe, clean production areas, coordinating D365 system activities, and collaborating with QC on trials and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or 1 year experience in manufacturing environment.
• Candidate must be willing to work at 1, Jalan 6/2b, Taman Industri Selesa Jaya, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform root cause analysis for production rejections and customer complaints.
• Ensure production areas, materials, and equipment are clean, organized, safe and well-maintained.
• Ensure smooth and accurate operation of the D365 system for all production activities.
• Collaborate with the QC Department on new product trials and process improvements.
• Establish and maintain GMP/HACCP/QA documentation including SOPs and monitoring records.
• Review and verify BMRs for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate routine maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, factory and machinery regulations.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager – Operations.

Ensure the daily production programs are met according to the planned schedules and the products manufactured/processed meet the quality specifications established by the company and/or those of the customers with good control on the cost of production by minimizing losses in terms of materials, energy and resources.

Fully responsible for the daily manufacturing & other value adding operations in producing semi-finished products and finished products by optimizing the materials, labor and other resources in the most efficient and effective manner.

Job Descriptions:

Oversee daily production operations by efficiently managing manpower and equipment to meet production schedules, output targets, and quality standards, while supervising and training staff, monitoring performance, resolving quality issues, minimizing losses and costs, supporting production planning, and ensuring all production areas, materials, and equipment are clean, organized, well-maintained, properly calibrated, and accurately recorded.

Perform root cause analysis and problem-solving for production rejections and customer complaints to reduce the rejection rate.

Ensure production areas, material storage (raw, packaging, semi-finished), and equipment are clean, well-organized, safe, and in good working condition through regular stock checks, minor repairs, servicing, calibration, and proper maintenance of all related records.

Ensure smooth and accurate operation of the D365 system for all production activities.

Collaborate with the QC Department on new product trials and process improvements.

Establish and maintain proper FSSC, HACCP, GMP and Quality System documentation, including SOPs, production monitoring records, and related documents.

Review and verify Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) for completeness and accuracy.

Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure product compliance with specifications.

Coordinate routine maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant.

Ensure compliance with all safety, health, factory, and machinery regulations and requirements.

Perform other operational duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager – Operations.

JobRequirements:

Certificate / Diploma / Degree or equivalent in any field.

Fresh graduate or 1 year experience in manufacturing environment preferably in pharmaceutical or food industry.
