Job summary

Sajian Ambang Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensure capacity and on-time delivery, and maintain GMP/HACCP compliance.

You will work with production teams, train workers, implement SOPs, and collaborate with QA/QC to investigate issues and improve quality and efficiency. The role requires strong leadership and a commitment to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma holders / professional certificate.
• Experience in food industry and food processing preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
• Ability to direct and supervise production staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager in ensuring production runs smoothly, at full capacity and on time.
• Work with production teams to ensure cost-effective, high quality, and timely delivery of products.
• Enforce HACCP / GMP practices in the production area.
• Assist in production planning and staff arrangement.
• Communicate with departments for prevention, improvement and corrective actions on facilities, work methods and product quality.
• Recommend changes to workflow, operations and equipment to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Provide training to workers to meet production goals and company policy.
• Collaborate with QA/QC to investigate problems, determine root causes and define resolutions.
• Ensure final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Create, implement, maintain and revise all documents related to food safety programmes including SOPs.
• Experience in directing and supervising production personnel.

Requirement

• Minimum Diploma holders / Professional Certificate.
• Prefer graduate in the field : Food Technology, Food Science, Culinary Art, Food Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 1 years (Officer) or 2 years (Executive) working experience in food industry and food processing in advantages.
• Good basic knowledge and skill in Food Safety and Quality requirement, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Food Security and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
