Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage assigned production processes and daily operations.
• Plan and schedule production activities to ensure targets and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Quality Control and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor production progress and resolve issues, delays and bottlenecks.
• Ensure products and processes comply with quality standards and specifications.
• Work with Quality Control to investigate and address quality-related issues.
• Analyse production data and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage manpower, machinery, materials and other resources.
• Lead, supervise and motivate production workers to achieve targets.
• Provide guidance, training, performance feedback and support to team members.
• Enforce SOPs and safety requirements.
• Maintain production records and prepare performance reports for management.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Support automation initiatives and assist with vision-system data analysis.
• Manage production schedules with disciplined task progression.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing/Engineering/Operations Management or related field

• Experience: 1-2 years
• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage assigned production processes and daily operations.
• Plan and schedule production activities to ensure production targets and delivery timelines are achieved.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Quality Control and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor production progress and resolve operational issues, delays and bottlenecks.
• Ensure products and production processes comply with required quality standards and specifications.
• Work closely with the Quality Control team to investigate and address quality-related issues.
• Analyse production data and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste and control production costs.
• Manage the utilisation of manpower, machinery, materials and other production resources.
• Lead, supervise and motivate production workers to achieve operational targets.
• Provide guidance, training, performance feedback and support to production team members.
• Enforce company policies, standard operating procedures and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular production performance reports for management.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, technologies and production best practices.
• Support the implementation of automation initiatives and assist with the analysis of vision-system data.
• Manage production schedules using a disciplined and sequential approach to task completion.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in production, manufacturing or operations.
• Able to supervise and manage production workers effectively.
• Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with production data, reports and performance indicators.
• Result-oriented, disciplined and committed to operational excellence.
• Exposure to production automation or vision systems would be an advantage.
