About the Role

The Production Engineer will support our Operation and Production Manager to ensure smooth production operations, optimising and improving overall manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and cost reduction, and ensuring product quality standards are achieved. This role works closely with production teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Operations Manager in managing daily production operations.

Monitor and control daily production processes to ensure output meets required specifications including manpower and work assignment.

Analyse production data and identify areas for process improvements.

Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production lines.

Maintain and update production procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, ISO, and company policies.

Collaborate with QC and team members to enhance product performance and reduce defects.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, DMAIC and Six Sigma.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

Experience in manufacturing industry preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Knowledge of manufacturing and QC processes, and willing to learn.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, AI and Engineering software/productivity tools.
