Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our Finance team. You will support the Finance Manager with accurate AP, AR, GL processing and management reporting.

• Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures.
• Work on process improvements and accounting system enhancements.
• Other tasks assigned by management.

About the Role

This role supports the Finance Manager in overseeing financial accounting and management reporting that complies with accounting standards and regulations. The specific responsibilities will be tailored based on your experience level—from day-to-day accounting support to full financial and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing accurate and timely accounting records (AP, AR, GL).
• Assist in preparing periodic financial and management reports.
• Support audit, tax, and other returns in compliance to prevailing laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments on financial matters.
• Develop and maintain financial accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures.
• Work on process improvements and accounting system enhancements.
• Other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in accounting, related field, or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA).
• Fresh graduates to 7 years prior work experience are welcome to apply
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and willing to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, AI and Accounting Software (e.g. Autocount).
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
