Job summary

Stream Environment Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations in Malaysia. You will lead daily production activities, ensure efficiency, quality, and safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a strong technical background, people management, and proactive problem-solving, with a focus on lean manufacturing and ERP/MRP systems integration across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of production/operations management experience, preferably in Metal Fabrications.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and quality management systems.
• Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office applications is a must.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the production team to achieve operational excellence.
• Develop and monitor production schedules, resource allocation, and workforce planning.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and process optimization.
• Coordinate with supply chain, maintenance, and quality departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
