Job summary

Toyo-Memory Technology in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes. You will ensure high-quality output, stable processes, and continuous yield and cost improvements in a cleanroom environment.

You will monitor aluminum substrate grinding, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with QA, maintenance, and NPI teams to qualify new materials and report performance metrics to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, or HDD manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering, SPC, DOE, and Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Hands-on experience with precision equipment and cleanroom protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production processes for Aluminum Substrate Grinding Process.
• Implement corrective actions to reduce defects, improve yield, and maintain process stability.
• Work with maintenance team to coordinate on machine improvement to reduce the downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SPC).
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead projects to enhance productivity, reduce cycle time, and improve cost efficiency.
• Work closely with QA, and NPI team for new materials qualification activity.
• Provide technical support and training to technician related to new ly implemented item.
• Maintain accurate process documentation, SOPs, and engineering reports.
• Present production performance metrics to management.
