Job summary

Join our engineering team as a Production Engineer to support manufacturing operations and drive New Product Introduction (NPI), process implementation and continuous improvement. You will solve manufacturing challenges, improve processes and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include supporting NPI activities and launches, new process setup, driving CI, analyzing issues, and ensuring quality with PFMEA and WI documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience or knowledge in manufacturing/process engineering.
  • Good knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing tools.
  • Familiarity with PFMEA, process flow and Work Instructions (WI).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good project coordination, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Good computer literacy and proficiency in common office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and new product launches.
  • Manage new process setup and implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, process capability, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing issues through analytical problem-solving and structured improvement tools.
  • Support process testing and validation activities.
  • Work closely with Quality Engineers on quality-related activities and ensure compliance with applicable quality systems.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, Work Instructions (WI), PFMEA and process flow.
  • Monitor engineering/manufacturing performance and support achievement of departmental KPIs.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Sales teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, HSE requirements and relevant ISO standards.

About you
