Job summary

CPI (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Project representative and coordinator for the projects and Process Improvement on all models to fulfil customer requirements on Quality, Cost, Delivery.

You will coordinate internal and external resources for production line set-up, systems readiness and process development. Responsibilities include planning ECN, BOM, IM Code in the MRP system, supporting NPI projects, and developing manufacturing processes including SMT and soldering equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronic or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Project representative and coordinator for projects and Process Improvement on all models to fulfil customer requirements on Quality, Cost, Delivery.
• Coordinating internal and external resources for the production line set-up, systems readiness and process development.
• Planning and creating ECN, BOM, IM Code in the MRP system.
• Support NPI projects by ensuring process readiness, equipment qualification, and manufacturing capability.
• Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes including SMT, reflow ovens, wave soldering machines, and solder paste printing equipment.
• Participate in engineering reviews and implement process improvements to support new product introductions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Suppliers to develop robust manufacturing solutions.
• Support the development of tooling, fixtures, equipment, and assembly modules from concept through implementation.
• Conduct process studies, validation activities, and capability evaluations to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Prepare documentation including PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and validation reports.
• Ensuring timely planning, development and execution of design reviews to support product manufacturability.
• Ensure processes comply with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
• Improve process capability, yield, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.

Job requirements

Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronic or any related field.

Preferable 1-2 years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
