Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience or Engineering degree.
• Experience in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Knowledge of CI and Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, process flow and WI.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485.

Responsibilities

• Support NPI activities and new product launches.
• Manage new process setup and ensure timely delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and cost efficiency.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing issues using structured problem solving.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and PFMEA.
• Monitor performance and support KPI achievement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and ISO requirements.

Join our engineering team as a Production Engineer to support manufacturing operations and drive New Product Introduction (NPI), process implementation and continuous improvement. You will solve manufacturing challenges, improve processes and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and new product launches
• Manage new process setup and implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, process capability, efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Identify and resolve manufacturing issues through analytical problem-solving and structured improvement tools
• Support process testing and validation activities
• Work closely with Quality Engineers on quality-related activities and ensure compliance with applicable quality systems
• Develop and maintain process documentation, Work Instructions (WI), PFMEA and process flow
• Monitor engineering/manufacturing performance and support achievement of departmental KPIs
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Sales teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, HSE requirements and relevant ISO standards

About you

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a Degree in Engineering
• Experience or knowledge in manufacturing/process engineering
• Good knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing tools
• Familiarity with PFMEA, process flow and Work Instructions (WI)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good project coordination, prioritisation and time management skills
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
• Good computer literacy and proficiency in common office applications
