Job summary

PNE Industries in Malaysia is seeking a skilled engineer to lead machine set-up, audit and maintenance activities across production lines. You will change models per planning, optimize programs for balanced cycle times, respond to breakdowns promptly, and monitor machine performance.

Qualifications

• To perform various machine set-up and changes as requested by production.
• Audit, trouble shoot and maintenance of all equipment.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and ensure safety compliance.
• Process optimization to achieve balanced cycle time; attend breakdowns and switch models as planned.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals and high quality products.
• Documentation and maintenance of manufacturing process specifications and quality control procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical support to production teams.
• Maintain data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for innovation.
• Establish and maintain quality control standards and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• To carry out job as instructed by senior engineer (Section Supervisor).
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including design, engineering, quality, and supply chain, to achieve production goals and deliver high quality product.
• Documentation, Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of manufacturing process, equipment specifications, and quality control procedures.
• Process Optimization, Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Continuous Improvement, Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement, developing action plans, and implementing changes to enhance production processes.
• Technical Support, Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot issues, and develop solution to address production challenges.
• Safety Compliance, Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with safety standards requirements.
• Training and Monitoring, Train and mentor junior staff helping them develop their skills and improve their Productivity.
• Data Analysis, Analyze production data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation. Use statistical analysis tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Quality Control, Establish and maintain quality control standards, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.
• To achieve PCBA objectives such as downtime, conversion time and quality.
