Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring for a production planning role based in Malaysia. You will manage planning functions for products produced in Malaysia, support Team Leaders and Sales with lead times and stock availability.

The role involves creating Bills of Materials, Process Routings, Work Orders, selecting suppliers, negotiating terms, and coordinating sub-contract work to meet customer due dates. You will monitor MRP data and liaise with teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma education level required.
• 4+ years' experience with computerized planning systems such as SAP or similar.
• Experience in capacity planning and production control.
• Experience negotiating supplier and sub-contractor terms.
• Experience in cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Create Bills of Materials, Process Routings and Work Orders.
• Select suppliers and sub-con contractors and negotiate terms.
• Plan Production Work Orders to meet customer due dates.
• Maintain and improve accuracy of MRP planning data.
• Monitor workload and coordinate with Team Leaders to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate and supervise sub-contract work as required.
• Coordinate customer priorities with Team Leaders on deliveries.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Search for lower-cost alternative suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Prepare lead time reports for sales when requested.

Requirements/Qualifications
