We are seeking a Production Planner to plan and coordinate production activities to ensure customer orders are completed on time, efficiently, and according to production capacity. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate effectively across multiple departments.
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and demand.
Coordinate production schedules according to capacity, manpower, materials, machine availability, and delivery requirements.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to minimize delays and production disruptions.
Coordinate closely with Production, Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering teams.
Ensure raw materials and components are available according to the production schedule.
Monitor production orders, work orders, inventory levels, and material requirements.
Identify potential capacity, material, or delivery constraints and take timely corrective action.
Follow up on production status and communicate changes or delays to relevant departments.
Maintain accurate production planning records and prepare relevant reports.
Support forecasting, capacity planning, and production performance analysis.
Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in production planning, production control, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
Experience in manufacturing/production planning is preferred.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling.
Good understanding of MRP, inventory control, capacity planning, and production processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis is an advantage.
Strong analytical, organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Good communication skills and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
