Job summary

De First Food Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd in Batu Caves, Malaysia, is seeking personnel to monitor and manage daily production activities. You will ensure tasks follow the schedule, track output, and report delays or breakdowns to the supervisor.

You will coordinate with Production, Warehouse, QC, and Maintenance to maintain uninterrupted flow, record wastage and downtime, and support continuous improvement efforts to reduce losses and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production progress and ensure all production activities are carried out according to the production schedule.
• Follow up with each production process to ensure products are completed within the planned timeline.
• Record hourly and daily production output accurately.
• Monitor and record production wastage, rejects, and downtime during production.
• Prepare and maintain daily production reports, wastage reports, and production records.
• Update production status and report any delays, machine breakdowns, material shortages, or manpower issues to the Production Supervisor/Manager immediately.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, QC, and Maintenance departments to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Verify that production records are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Assist in monitoring raw material usage and finished goods quantities.
• Ensure all production documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed.
• Assist during stock counts and production reconciliation when required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production losses and improve efficiency.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
