Job summary

Tea Garden Management in Johor Bahru is seeking a production operator to perform daily food preparation, processing and packing in line with the production schedule.

You will follow approved recipes, SOPs and HACCP standards, operate production machines safely, monitor quality, maintain hygiene, record quantities and assist with stock receiving and storage.

Qualifications

• Follow approved recipes, SOPs and work instructions.
• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately based on required specifications.
• Operate production machines safely and correctly.
• Check the quality, appearance, weight, quantity and packaging of finished products.
• Follow Halal, GMP and HACCP requirements at all times.
• Record production quantities, wastage and temperature accurately.
• Apply FIFO and FEFO practices when handling raw materials and finished products.
• Report damaged or faulty machines and equipment promptly.

Responsibilities

• Follow workplace safety procedures to prevent accidents, injuries and product contamination.
• Assist with stock receiving, storage and movement when required.
• Perform other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor or Management.

Job description

Carry out daily food preparation, processing, cooking, portioning and packing according to the production schedule.

Follow approved recipes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Weigh and measure ingredients accurately based on the required specifications.

Operate production machines and equipment safely and correctly.

Check the quality, appearance, weight, quantity and packaging of finished products.

Ensure all products are properly labelled with the required production and expiry information.

Follow food-safety, hygiene, Halal, GMP and HACCP requirements at all times.

Maintain personal cleanliness and wear the required uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Clean and sanitise the work area, utensils, machines and equipment before and after production.

Record production quantities, wastage, temperature and other required information accurately.

Apply FIFO and FEFO practices when handling raw materials and finished products.

Minimise material wastage and immediately report any quality or production issues to the supervisor.

Report damaged or faulty machines and equipment promptly.

Follow workplace safety procedures to prevent accidents, injuries and product contamination.

Assist with stock receiving, storage and movement when required.

Perform other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor or Management.
